Ship Power Plant Management System PPM-3

The ship power plant control system PPM-3 manufactured by DEIF is a microprocessor-based controllers containing a wide range of functions necessary for the control of ship power plants. The main functions of the system are monitoring, control and protection of ship generators.

The data from the power plant are displayed on the LCD display, which can be installed separately from the controller and can be placed directly on the main switchboard door. Use the buttons on the display to select the required mode:

• parallel operation of DG with automatic load distribution;
• fixed power mode (diesel generator);
• load transfer between DG and shaft generator;
• load transfer between DG and shore;
• work on separate sections of tires.

The PPM-3 system can start and stop generators on demand, and give the generators priority to start.
