FleetBroadband - a sea of global satellite communication system that provides wideband Internet access, telephony, and SMS and the ISDN network for ocean-going vessels through the portable dome antennas. These antennas size of 291 × 275 mm (FB150) to 605 mm x 630 mm (FB500), a compound capable of providing up to 432 kbit / s. All FleetBroadband antennas operate in the line of sight of one of geostationary orbiting satellites. 
 
Inmarsat FleetBroadband 
 
Broadband is available in three fourth-generation satellite with a lifespan of at least up to 2020, which received its name in line with areas of action: 1-4 Americas (North, Central and South America), 1-4 EMEA (Europe. Middle East and Africa) and 1-4 Asia-Pacific (Asia Pacific) with surrounding ocean areas. 
 
INMARSAT -As, C,-M,-M -Mini, -F33, -F55 -F77 and work through the other four satellites of the third generation: AOR-E (Atlantic ocean east area), AOR-W (Atlantic ocean west district), IOR (Indian ocean Region) and POR (Pacific region). Service area of all satellites cover areas between about 76 north and south latitude at an elevation angle of 5 'above the horizon. In practice it turns out that the maximum latitude up to 80', so that the system can be used FleetBroadband and ice fleet.
