Synchronization relay CSQ-3

Synchronization relay CSQ-3
The CSQ-3 relay is a microprocessor-based device designed to control the synchronization process and generate an enabling signal to turn on the machine. This device can be used in any installation where manual or semi-automatic synchronization is required. CSQ-3 measures the following quantities: voltage, frequency, phase difference between common buses and generator.

There is a circle of 36 red LEDs on the panel of the device, providing an accuracy of readings of 10 degrees. The wheel speed indicates the difference in frequency. The faster the rotation, the greater the frequency difference.

Specifications:
  • Input voltage (UN): 100 ... 127V AC ± 20% 220 ... 240V AC ± 20% 380 ... 415V AC ± 20% 440 ... 480V AC ± 20%
  • Frequency range: 40 ... 70 Hz (power supply)
  • Accuracy: ± 2 electrical degrees
  • Resolution: 10 electrical degrees
  • Max. input voltage: 1.2 x Un, continuous Above 450 V: 1.1 x Un, continuous 2 x Un for 10 sec.
