Repeater 5016-AA

The Sperry Marine Model 5016-AA is a gyrocompass console repeater designed to reliably display the true course of a vessel. This device has a high degree of protection IP-66 for the front side of the panel, which ensures its resistance to moisture and dust. The repeater is installed on cantilever frames in compliance with the requirements of the IEC 60945 standard, which guarantees its protection from atmospheric precipitation.

The 5016-AA repeater can be mounted in various positions: horizontal, vertical or at an angle, so it can be easily integrated into any navigation system. The device body is made of durable waterproof materials, including powder-coated aluminum alloy, which ensures its durability and reliability in operation. Additional convenience is provided by an external LED backlight and conveniently located control keys on the front panel. The model is also equipped with a removable sun visor for comfortable operation in bright sunlight.

For data transmission, the repeater uses speeds of 9600, 19200 or 38400 baud and supports the NMEA 0183/ IEC 61162 format via the RS-422 interface. It is ideally suited for use with the NAVIGAT X Mk 1, NAVIGAT X MK 2 and NAVIGAT 2100 series gyrocompasses, providing high accuracy and reliability of navigation data.
