PRO-5 - is a free pop-up satellite EPIRB. Designed to work in an international satellite search and rescue system COSPAS-SARSAT. ARB operates at frequencies of 406 MHz and 121.5 MHz. It meets the requirements of the IMO Resolution, GMDSS and SOLAS. It has the approval of the international organization COSPAS-SARSAT and the corresponding Certificate of Approval №172.
PRO-5 is certified by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
PRO-5 is equipped with three LED white beacons, which are designed to identify the state of operation of the frequency transmitters. Frequency of flashes once every 3 seconds. Thanks to modern technology ARB consumes less energy and has a small size and low weight. EPIRB is equipped with a hydrostatic engine compartment. Such a mechanism is activated automatically when immersed in water to a depth of 4 meters d or manually. Installing EPIRB PRO-5 is recommended on the open deck, to simplify the process of automatic activation in the event of an emergency.
