FastFind 220 PLB is a personal lighthouse developed by McMurdo. FastFind 220 PLB is a personal security device designed to alert search and rescue services about an emergency situation on land or at sea. When the FastFind 220 is activated, the PLB transmits the coded message at the distress frequency of 406 MHz, which is controlled by the Cospas-Sarsat satellite system. Then, the alert is transmitted through the earth station to the nearest rescue coordination center.
The FastFind 220 lighthouse uses an internal GPS receiver to pinpoint your location within 62 meters. McMurdo FastFind 220 is simple to operate, small and light enough for a person to carry with him at all times. The FastFind 220 PLB battery allows continuous operation for at least 24 hours.
