SAL R1a

Consilium SAL R1a is an acoustic log designed to measure the distance traveled relative to the water, as well as the relative speed of the vessel and its display. SAL R1a is the fourth generation of Consilium SAL lags. The design of the device fully complies with IMO requirements. Reliability and exceptional performance are the main qualities of this product. The SAL R1a lag uses the principle of acoustic collocation.

SAL R1a is certified by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

The basic model of the SAL R1 includes:
Clinker (configuration with an outboard water valve is possible). It can be installed on SAL Imcor and SAR R1 wedges
TRU R1 Transceiver
An electronic unit that is installed in the bow of the vessel SAL R1 a ELC
Indicators that are installed on the SD4-3 bridge
The electronic circuit of the lag is a single board, which is placed in a splash-proof steel box. The cable entries are located on the bottom plane of the box. The clinkers can be supplied for both single and double bottoms, which allows not only to service the transducer, but also to replace it from the inside without docking if necessary. Tincture and calibration of the lag is a fairly easy procedure, which is performed using the SD4 LCD display. Data can be recorded over the entire speed range with high accuracy.
