AWS430 - Hydrometeorological complex, manufactured by VAISALA OYJ, designed to measure weather data in marine environments (at ports, on ships and offshore platforms). AWS430 has a waterproof outer shell, which resists salt water, freezing, as well as vibration and shock. Hydrometeorological complex AWS430 measures data such as wind speed and direction, barometric pressure, air temperature, humidity, etc. It can be equipped with additional sensors for measuring other parameters such as water temperature, duration of rain and sunshine, global and long-wave radiation, precipitation, cloud height, visibility, wave height, level and flow of water and the movement of ships.
 
Hydrometeorological AWS430 complex meets all the requirements for the data in NMEA 0183 and IEC 1162-1 format. AWS430 supports LAN connection with XML and Modbus protocols and TCP-IP, and remote maintenance function. AWS430 comply with the International maritime standards IEC 60945 and has a Certificate of Type Approval of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
