Furuno VR-7000S

The VR-7000S from Furuno is a compact marine data recorder that captures events on a ship for analysis after maritime incidents. Its functionality is similar to aviation flight recorders, capturing all important navigation and operational data, including bridge communication, radio communications and radar data.

Compliance of the VR-7000S with IMO standards and resolution MSC 163 (78) ensures that the device can store data for up to 48 hours in stationary and emergency pop-up devices, up to 720 hours on solid-state media in the data acquisition unit, and also ensures the preservation of images from two radars and the main ECDIS system. The data can be copied to a USB drive. VR-7000S is certified by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
