NGSM VoyageMaster II
Voyage data recorder (VDR), the so-called 'black box' is used to record all kinds of navigational information. The recorded data are used to analyze the causes of major and minor incidents that occurred during the voyage.

List of mandatory data arriving at the data logger:

Software
VoyageMaster II S-VDR data provides a rich selection team, engineers, and ship managers. Software is intuitive and easy to use.
features real-time analysis - Sperry Marine has developed software for playback, which allows the operator to monitor and analyze events in real time.
Configuration options - the operator is able to produce flexible options preferred for displaying information about managing ship.
Training Opportunities - playback function is an excellent tool for teaching team. It can be used to create a scenario showing the best record of navigational training.
Opportunities retrieve data - data can be extracted from the system S-VDR via a local area network PC or a removable hard drive. These data can be easily imported into a Windows program to analyze on board and on shore.

Annual survey
According to the requirements of SOLAS V of Annex 18 is required to be set by the data logger is tested annually.
