Doppler lag MTDSL-99 is able to measure speed relative to water (forward / backward) and distance (traversed / total) of the vessel based on the Doppler effect.
The device includes: an information display unit, a control unit, a transceiver, a radiator, a clinket. The information display unit is equipped with a color 7 "display with a resolution of 480x234 and large function buttons. The body of the device blocks are made of moisture-proof materials according to IP23 / IP56.The device is equipped with a GPS-receiver, NMEA0183 output for connection to the ship network and data transfer to other navigation devices.
The lag is designed for operation at an ambient temperature of -15 ~ + 55 ° C, relative humidity of 40 ± 3 ° C; 93% ± 2% and depth of water under the keel> 3 m, rolling pitch ± 10 ° and pitching ± 5 °. It operates from 110 / 220V, 50/60 Hz mains power supply. If the lag is faulty, the display shows the speed received from the GPS receiver.

The MTDSL-99 Lagoon complies with the requirements of Part V "Navigation Equipment" of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (Maritime Equipment) Regulations (edition 2017) and Part IV of the Technical Supervision Rules for the Construction of Ships and the Manufacture of Shipboard Materials and Products.
