Anemometers

DEIF anemometers are designed to measure wind speed and direction in severe sea conditions.

Types of DEIF anemometers:
1. The WSS 5XX sensor has a waterproof housing, robust design and built-in heater, which allows it to be used in any environment.
Sensor versions:
  • WSS 550 - sensor with built-in heater;
  • WSS 500 - sensor without heater.
2. The WSS7XX anemometer is a ruggedized sensor, it has no moving parts, therefore it is devoid of such drawbacks as friction, wear, inertia, hurricane damage, insensitivity to very weak wind.
Sensor versions:
  • WSS 750 - sensor with built-in heater;
  • WSS 700 - sensor without heater.
XDi N series indicators are used to connect to WSS00 / WSS700 sensors and display the direction and speed of the wind. The devices have a large readable scale and a backlight dimmer.
Indicator versions:
  • XDi N basically - with an NX2 NMEA interface module for connection to the sensor.
  • XDi N repeater - connects to the main indicator XDi N.
