Sound Rocket of Disaster ZRB-40
Sound rocket distress ZRB-40 - a device that allows seagoing vessels unlimited navigation area distress signals fed as an audio signal (gun shot) formation in the sky and clouds of black smoke bright flash. ZRB-40 - is a ready-shot, launched from the starting metal cup, which is fixed on the upper deck of the ship. It consists of a plastic housing, which houses an ignition device, jet engine and rocket with placed in it a sound checker.
Rocket meets the requirements of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea SOLAS-74, the International Code LSA LSA Code with all amendments and resolutions of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping Technical Regulations on the safety of maritime transport facilities.
