BSSK-12 Self-igniting buoy
Luminous buoy (self-igniting fire) BSKS is included in a set of marine / river lifebuoys and serves to indicate the location of the rescue circle in conditions of insufficient visibility. It is a means of providing transport, passenger, fishing, oil tankers and gas carriers, as well as inland navigation vessels. Meets the requirements of the International Code for Life-Saving Appliances, the requirements of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and the Technical Regulations on the Safety of Maritime Transport Facilities / Russian River Register and Technical Regulations on the Safety of Inland Water Transport Facilities.
The buoy glows white with a light intensity of at least 2 kd in all directions of the upper hemisphere for at least 2 hours / 45 minutes. The luminous buoy is attached to the lifeline by a line (1.5 m long) and fixed next to the circle on the vessel with the help of a bracket. Automatically switches on when it enters the water.
