The Koden MDC-5240 is a marine radar station with a 12.1—inch color LCD display and a 4-foot open antenna. It provides a clearer signal display due to the tripled information update rate. It is intended for operation on inland navigation vessels with a capacity of up to 1600 registered tons. Improved display is achieved by using the automatic gain control function. The station supports the use of C-Map maps (NT or NT MAX), providing clear information about the coastline, buoys and other additional information under the radar picture.
