FR-8225

The Furuno FR-8225 marine radar is equipped with a digital signal processing function and comes with a large 12-inch color LCD display, which allows you to effectively identify targets in conditions of heavy rain and poor visibility. The station is intended for use on ships with a gross capacity of up to 300 registered tons as additional equipment.

The FR-8225 radar is certified by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

The radar is able to distinguish between rain and reflective surfaces, track the movement of rain clouds and eliminate unnecessary echoes. There are 16 control keys, 3 rotary switches and cursor keys on the display. The wide-angle screen provides high-quality images of ships and land, as well as excellent visibility in direct sunlight. Thanks to modern digital signal processing technology, the user can take advantage of improved noise reduction functions from precipitation and the sea.

• In the True Trail Mode, the trajectories of nearby vessels are highlighted in color, which greatly simplifies navigation in areas with heavy traffic, especially when using AIS. The display of AIS data is possible when connecting an AIS transmitter/receiver from Furuno. To use the SARP, it is possible to install an additional board for the ARP-11 automatic plotter.
