Furuno FAR-2127-BB - is a high-precision radar system operating in the frequency bands of the X-band. The radar is intended for installation on ships of more than 10 000 reg. tons, provides enhanced target detection capabilities. The FAR-2127 BB is compatible with any SXGA monitor (1280 x 1024) or with an LCD display. 

One of the main features of this model is the possibility of working in an Ethernet network in conjunction with other ship equipment, including ECDIS. Data transmission over Ethernet gives an advantage in speed, stability and convenience of information exchange.

Connecting to a high-resolution SXGA monitor provides a clear image of the radar signals, which is presented in selectable colors with day and night background. This allows you to use the device with the same efficiency at any time of day. Different colors are assigned to labels, symbols and text. Object detection is improved through the use of sophisticated signal processing techniques such as echo-stretching, average echo and interference protection functions. ARPA functions, AIS target screen, target trail, map overlay, can improve the efficiency and safety of navigation. You can connect up to four radar stations to the network without an additional device. The radar is available with an antenna of 4, 6.5 or 8 feet. Various menu options can be easily selected using the trackball.
