Furuno DRS6A

The Furuno DRS6A X-class is an open–type antenna designed for radar systems, providing high signal clarity both at short distances (from 25 meters) and at long distances (up to 120 nautical miles) in real time. The rotation speed of the antenna automatically adapts to the pulse length required for optimal operation. The radar processor is integrated into the drive box, which simplifies installation by requiring only a power cable and Ethernet connection.

Digital signal processing improves target detection at all distances. When the appropriate sensors are connected, the radar can overlay radar data on 2D and 3D mapping, accompany up to 30 MARPA targets, overlay AIS targets and display the afterglow of moving targets when the echo sounder is connected.

The DRS6A-X-class has a bird watching mode that automatically adjusts the amplification and suppression of interference from the sea for optimal imaging, which is useful for searching for bird flocks over shoals of fish.
