Furuno DRS4D-NXT
The DRS4D-NXT Doppler radar with an output power of 25 Watts in a compact 24" fairing and low energy consumption. It is equipped with pulse compression, target analysis and fast target search and tracking functions, which makes it no less effective than open-type antennas.
Technical specifications:
- Antenna in the fairing: 24"
- Beam width: 3.9 horizontally (adjustable from 2 to 3.9), 25 vertically
- Rotation speed: 24/36/48 rpm (depending on the selected range) or fixed 24 rpm
- Output power: 25 W (equivalent to 4 kW for radar with magnetron)
- TX frequency (3 channels with automatic or manual adjustment):
- Channel 1: 0 (MHz) 9380, Q0N (MHz) 9400
- Channel 2: 0 (MHz) 9400, Q0N (MHz) 9420
- Channel 3: 0 (MHz) 9420, Q0N (MHz) 9440
The radar has a RezBoost TM function that allows you to get clearer target images using a beam narrowing of up to 2 degrees.
Also, the DRS4D-NXT radar is equipped with a bird monitoring function:
This mode automatically adjusts the gain settings and suppresses interference from the sea to obtain an optimal image of bird packs gathering over the fish.
