Furuno DRS12A
Furuno DRS12A is an open-type digital radar antenna that provides high-definition digital signal in real time. The dual antenna is 6 inches long and rotates at up to 48 rpm, providing a range of up to 72 nautical miles.
The simultaneous scanning technology used in NavNet 3D ensures high quality target detection. With each turn of the antenna, the system sends, receives and processes double pulses, simultaneously displaying two separate ranges of action.
The radar is equipped with the functions of eliminating interference from the sea (STC) and rain (FTC), automatic adjustment, simultaneous scanning in two ranges with the ability to independently adjust parameters for each range. It supports connecting additional devices via Bus, color palette selection and compatibility with NavNet 3D displays (when connected to MFD8 and MFD12 displays, the PSU012 module is required) and NavNet TZtouch. The DRS12A is available in antenna lengths of 4 ft (1.22 m) and 6 ft (1.83 m). The device is also compatible with other devices via the NMEA protocol.
