Furuno FAR-2827W - Radar operating in X-band and has a power output of 25 kW, is used for detection purposes and objects. LCD disp with a diagonal of 24 inches and a high resolution 1600h1280 pixels. It displays all the necessary information: the status of its own vessel, course, speed, etc., and selection of the day / night mode enables users to view the data in any lighting conditions. Radar FAR-2827W is easy and convenient to use and manage, thanks to the multi-function buttons and rotary control trackball.
The FAR-2827W radar station is capable of storing up to 30 routes and 200 waypoints in its memory, as well as displaying up to 1000 AIS targets when connected to an AIS transponder. For this model, you can choose an antenna with a length of 4, 6.5 or 8 feet, and the rotation speed can be 24 revolutions per minute for standard radars and 42 revolutions per minute for HSC.
The FAR-2827W radar is equipped with the function of tracking the movement of other vessels and warning of approach (CPA/TCPA). It is also possible to connect other radar and ARPA devices without additional equipment.
The FAR-2827W radar station is approved by the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and meets the following standards: IMO MSC.64(67) Annex 4, IMO A.823(19), IEC 60936-1 (ship radar), IEC 60936-2 (HSC radar), IEC 60872-1 (ARPA), IEC 60872-2 (ATA), IEC 60832-3 (EPA), IEC 60945 (General requirements).
