Charger Samyung SC-200

SC-200 is an automatic battery charger manufactured by Samyung company, it is intended to provide emergency power supply to equipment of the Global Maritime Distress System (GMDSS) from battery batteries on the ship.

The SC-200 is made in a metal casing, with terminals for connecting GMDSS and marine battery equipment. On the front panel of this device there are indicator arrows, switches and LEDs that show the current status of the AMU. The SC-200 has an audible and light alarm, which is triggered by the loss of the main power supply 110 / 220V AC.

The SC-200 includes two battery charging modes:

• Auto (the battery is protected from self-discharge and its nominal capacity is automatically maintained);
• Manual (battery charge is made continuously regardless of the state of its capacity).
