UTD 521

UTD 521 - is a universal optical smoke detector with collective addressing. Designed to work in the fire alarm system. Equipped with a digital signal processing function. Meets the requirements of CEN-EN 54 and CE.

 

The UTD 521 heat detector is connected to the SecuriLine cable using the MDI 82 multichannel interface. Also, the device can be connected as a regular fire detector. The connection is made to devices operating on the principle of increasing current. UTD 521 detects not only an open flame with smoke formation, the device also responds to a temperature increase without smoke evolution. The detector changes the temperature of the environment. If the temperature rise rate is considered to be the maximum permissible, the UTD 521 reproduces the fire signal. In addition, self-monitoring with an active fault detection indication (LED flashing) is integrated.

 

For installation, the universal USB 501 base is included in the scope of supply. The electrical connection to the loop is carried out using the terminals provided in the socket. The electrical connection of the detector to the plinth is carried out through a 5-pin connector.

 

It is important to remember that you should not install a heat detector in rooms with a large accumulation of dust, smoke or steam, due to production factors.
