The fire detector IPK-TU is used in industrial facilities with high humidity, the presence of dust in the air, including: in cable collectors; on vehicles: sea and river vessels. The sensor design allows to install the IPK-TU detector in the detector body of the Tesla UPS during their modernization instead of the radioisotope sources MNG 108 (168).

The detector IPK-TU is an automatic electronic device that monitors the optical density and air temperature at the site of its installation and determines the excess of the air smokiness and the rate of increase in its temperature, as well as the air temperature for IPC-TU114A3 (C) above the set thresholds. In case of exceeding one or two of the specified parameters of the set thresholds for a certain time, the detector issues an electrical signal to the external circuit in the form of a set increase in the detector's current consumption in the alarm loop and a light signal in the form of a permanent bright glow of the red LED built into the detector and / relay in a 4-wire outlet. The electrical supply of the detector and the transmission of the signal "Fire" is carried out by means of a two-wire electrical connecting line. 
The design of the smoke channel operates on the principle of "pipe". Due to the difference in pressures of warm smoke and "cold" ambient air, smoke is sucked into the optical channel of the detector. At the same time, dust, being "cold", does not get inside the optical channel. The absence of dust accumulation allows not to clean this structure from it during the operation of the detectors. 
The design of the thermal differential channel is realized on thermocouples, which also provides the possibility of operating the detector without additional costs for monitoring its characteristics during the entire service life.
  • The degree of protection of the envelope of the detector IP 65 (the ability to work in dusty air flows at a speed of not more than 10 m / s).
  • Operating temperature: from minus 50 ° С to plus 60 ° С
  • For resistance to mechanical influences, the detector corresponds to the group of M25 version GOST 17516.1-90.
