CG-3000 Antenna tuner (automatic)

The CG-3000 is an automatic antenna tuner from CG Antenna, covering the entire HF range. The device is intended to be used in conjunction with the Vertex VX-1700 radio station, ensuring the coordinated operation of the transceiver and antenna in the frequency range from 1.8 MHz to 30 MHz. The tuner is a passive element of the antenna-feeder path and does not contain radio transmitting and power supply units.
The CG-3000 is tuned the first time the radio is turned on for 2 seconds. In 200 memory cells, the minimum SWR is stored for subsequent settings, which take 0.2 seconds.
Specifications:
- 200 memory channels
- Coverage of the entire HF range
- Suitable for use with HF transceiver VX-1700
- Power input: 10-200 W
- Frequency range 1.8-30 MHz
- Impedance 50 Ohm
- Maximum input power 200 W
- Minimum input power 10 W
- Power supply 13.8 V +/- 10%
- Consumption <0.8 A
- The tuning time is 2 s (when the radio is first switched on); 0.2 s (when tuning in the stored channels)
- Recommended average antenna size (on subranges) For 6-30 MHz: 2.4 m; for 1.8-30 MHz: 8 m
- Size 400x250x39 mm
- Weight 900g
Calculating the Position
The receiver measures the distance to a satellite by the time required for the signal to travel from the satellite to the receiver (time-of-flight)
