Autopilot Navis AP 3000 is connected to the steering servo system 'Pechora'.
transfer of control occurs on demand autopilot autopilot (signal 'mode AR') when the steering system 'Pechora' working mode tracking control (signals 'Tracking Mode', 'Ready PM1 ',' Ready PM2 ') and switch on the autopilot switch panel is in ON (signal' AR Mode ').

Autopilot generates a voltage proportional to the desired position of the helm, which is modulated voltage servo steering system of the machine. Output control circuit autopilot is the secondary winding of the transformer (Tr), which is connected in series to the circuit signal summing steering device and IM.

When you turn off the autopilot, normally closed relay contacts disconnect the transformer Tr from control circuits and reduced scheme SSDS 'Pechora'.

Navis AP 3000 can be installed on ships of various types, ranging from motor yachts to large tankers class VLCC (cupertankerami).  Control Modes

  • Simple steering
  • Trailing steering
  • Manage ship's course
  • Traffic management on the straight portion of the trajectory
  • Work on the integrated navigation system
  • change control of the ship's hand without switching to manual control mode (DODGE)

Main advantages
  • Adaptive algorithm with a minimum retention rate of turns of steering
  • Easy to maneuver and set a course
  • Ability to set speed or maneuvering radius circulation
  • Wide range of applications: from yachts and small boats to
    large vessels
  • Built-in self-test and hazard warning
    alarm
