Furuno FA-170
The Furuno FA-170 Class A AIS is designed to monitor ships equipped with AIS and exchange data with shore stations in real time in the VHF coverage area. This data includes static information (MMSI, IMO call sign and name, length, width, ship type, antenna location), dynamic information (coordinates, UTC, COG, SOG) and route data (draft, type of dangerous goods, destination, arrival time), as well as short safety-related messages. The FA-170 is used to prevent collisions and raise awareness in the dark, fog and other difficult marine conditions.
AIS FA-170 information is displayed on a compact 4.3-inch color display. The device's software allows you to save up to 2048 AIS names and assignments, as well as select and edit lists. Up to 20 items can be listed at the same time.
Furuno FA-170 can be connected to radars, ECDIS and electronic mapping systems. No additional interface is required to connect to the latest radar models (FAR-21x7 / FAR-28x7 series) and ECDIS (FEA-2107/2807 series) from Furuno.
The device complies with international requirements and standards: IMO MSC.74 (69), ITU-R M.1371, IEC 60993-2, IEC 60945 / MTSA 2002 - US.
