Repair of Sailor HC 4500

The repair department received a faulty Sailor HC 4500 panel. Sailor HC 4500 is part of the Sailor 4000 modular system. It is a MF / HF maritime radiotelephone with built-in DSC system, also has an HF single-band radiotelephone and built-in MF / HF telex if connected to a PC and / or printer. When connected to a GPS or other marine navigation system, the unit can automatically insert true UTC time and location data into its DSC distress calls.

✔️ During the diagnostics, a malfunction was identified, which was solved by replacing the capacitors.
