Repair of Navtex Samyung SNX-300

NAVTEX Samyung SNX-300 receiver - developed in 2005 by #Samyung - is an effective GMDSS instrument on a ship, automatically delivering navigation, weather, rescue and other information in the form of on-screen messages that are stored in memory and can be printed.

NAVTEX is an international warning system operating on dedicated frequencies of 518 kHz, 490 kHz and in some areas at 4209.5 kHz, consisting of more than 150 ground stations located around the world and covering about 200-600 miles.

✔️ After fault detection, a problem was found in the Nand memory of the device. After replacing the firmware and tuning the receiver, it was handed over to the crew in working order.
