Starting the Tron SMARTDEC GMDSS Tester

Jotron announces the release of the innovative Tron SMARTDEC GMDSS tester.

Measuring 102 mm by 55 mm and weighing 350 grams, the compact device can connect via Wi-Fi and USB-C, giving users maximum flexibility in the way they work.

Each test report contains a unique QR code. It allows for authentication of the data. This approach is unparalleled in the market.

With the Tron SMARTDEC GMDSS, the EPIRB, AIS-EPIRB, AIS-SART, AIS and ultrasonic VDR pinger can be tested. Additional test functions will be implemented in the future. The device operates in the frequency range of 100 MHz to 900 MHz at temperatures from -20°C to +55°C.

As of December 31, 2024, the current model of the UNIDEC EPIRB tester will not be manufactured. There is no exchange of old models for new ones. The Tron SMARTDEC GMDSS is now available for order and will arrive in stock in early December 2024. Part number 105790.
