Requirements for telematic container monitoring systems

Technical standards of design, parameters, method of installation on the container and a list of necessary tests have been established for devices that monitor the condition of containers. Telematic devices must transmit information about the container state to a special server for data processing and operate reliably at temperatures from -40 ° C to +50 ° C, as well as have hermetic protection of all elements of the electronic module. Containers equipped with automatic identification devices AEI, meeting the requirements of ISO 10374, must have special markings in English, including the logo, explosion protection marking, IP code and other data.

The purpose of these innovations is to improve the safety and efficiency of containerized cargo transportation. With the help of the new systems, it will be possible to monitor parameters such as temperature, humidity, pressure inside the container as well as its location. This will prevent damage to cargo during transportation and optimize logistics processes.
