5.13.8.4 When solving the task of performing executive laying, the ANN should provide functions and data that meet the relevant operational and technical requirements for ECDIS (see 5.15), and also additionally provide the following functions:
overlay, if necessary, a radar image on a map with the aim of Presentation of navigational objects, restrictions and dangers for own ship and for an estimation of results of location control and object identification
determination of deviations of the values of the measured water depth under the keel of the vessel from the value set by the master, and the operation of the corresponding alarm warning;
alphanumeric display of the current coordinates of the vessel, current heading, heading relative to the ground, speed relative to the ground, speed relative to the water, water depth under the keel of the ship, angular velocity of rotation (measured or obtained from the data on the change of course);
receiving AIS messages from a navigational fence (AtoN);
display of navigational warnings of coastal and NAVAREA areas;
display of search and rescue alerts;
mapping of weather warnings from coastal and METAREA areas;
display of ice warnings;
overlay of safety information;
the ability to include the planned route, provide control and display of the route, as well as maneuvering data if the ship's trajectory control system is integrated into the ANN.
When solving the task of performing executive laying, the ANN should provide functions and data that meet the relevant operational and technical requirements for ECDIS (see 5.15), and also additionally provide the following functions:

determination of deviations of the values of the measured water depth under the keel of the vessel from the value set by the master, and the operation of the corresponding alarm warning;
alphanumeric display of the vessel's current coordinates, current course, course relative to the ground, speed relative to the ground, speed relative to the water, water depth under the keel of the vessel, angular speed of rotation (measured or obtained from the data on the course change);
receiving AIS messages from navigation aids; the ability to include the planned route, provide control and display of the route, as well as maneuvering data if the control system is integrated into the ANN
5.13.8.4.1 To solve navigational problems, it is allowed to display on the display that displays the map also the following other information related to the ship’s route:
tracking radar and AIS targets;
binary and security-related AIS messages;
announcement of the “man overboard” alarm and control of maneuvers, including maneuvers when participating in search and rescue operations;
data on constant and tidal currents;
meteorological data; ice data;
maritime safety information (IBM) selected by the operator.
To solve navigational problems, it is allowed to display on the display that displays the map also the following other information related to the ship’s route:
tracking radar and AIS targets;
binary and security-related AIS messages;
announcement of the “man overboard” alarm and control of maneuvers, including maneuvers when participating in search and rescue operations;
NAVTEX messages;
data on constant and tidal currents;
meteorological data; ice data.
5.13.8.6.1 When manually controlling the movement of the vessel, the navigation information display of the ANN should display at least the following information:
depth under the keel of the vessel and depth profile;
speed relative to water, speed relative to the ground, course relative to the ground;
coordinates of the location of the vessel;
the current value of the course, the angular velocity of rotation (measured or obtained from data on the change in course)
rudder angle;
data on the main engine;
current and drift, direction and speed of the wind (true and / or relative, chosen by the skipper), if there is a possibility of obtaining them;
current heading and speed control mode;
time and distance to the rudder shift point or the next waypoint;
safety message (for example, AIS binary messages; AIS
messages related to safety, maritime safety information).
When manually controlling the movement of the vessel, the navigation information display of the ANN should display at least the following information:
depth under the keel of the vessel and depth profile;
speed relative to water, speed relative to the ground, course relative to the ground;
coordinates of the location of the vessel;
the current value of the course, the angular velocity of rotation (measured or obtained from data on the change in course)
rudder angle;

current heading and speed control mode;
time and distance to the rudder shift point or the next waypoint;
Security message (for example, AIS binary messages;
AIS security-related messages, NAVTEX messages).
5.13.8.7 When solving the problem “state and display of data”, the ANN should provide the following functions:
presentation of information about the mode and state of data;
presentation of static, dynamic and voyage-related data received from AIS ship equipment;
presentation of the corresponding measured data on the movement of the vessel together with their pre-set values;
Presentation of received safety-related messages, such as AIS safety messages and AIS binary messages, special messages from AIS applications, maritime safety information (IBM);
presentation of ANN configuration;
presentation of sensors and information sources

5.20.6.8 image of the ECDIS screen used at that time as the main means of navigation (if the vessel is equipped with ECDIS). The registration method should provide the ability to reproduce an exact copy of the full ECDIS image at the time of its recording, taking into account possible limitations (distortions) associated with the compression of information during recording, while additionally data must be recorded on the source of the cartographic data and the version of such information used; signals containing information displayed on the indicator of the electronic cartographic navigation and information system (if the vessel is equipped with ECDIS). The registration method should provide the ability to reproduce the image on the ECDIS indicator in full and in the form in which it was at the time of recording, taking into account possible distortions associated with compression of information during recording, while data on the source of obtaining cartographic data should also be recorded and the version of such information used;
