JRC JLN-720
The JRC JLN-720 is a satellite log that functions as a system for determining the speed of a ship using a GPS compass installed on board. It measures speed in three dimensions: transverse velocity at the front and rear of the vessel, longitudinal velocity, and total and remote distance using satellite signals. The processor integrated into the GPS compass antenna reduces setup time and minimizes speed measurement errors. The antenna design reduces the risk of blind spots by providing more accurate speed measurements compared to traditional systems.
The JRC JLN-720 lag processor, based on advanced technology, can be easily integrated with a variety of additional hardware to improve configuration. Features include remote displays, digital and analog indicators, dimmers, and distance counters. The device is capable of displaying vessel speed data (VBW), sailing speed information (VLW) and heading at speed (VTG) in various standard formats and NMEA versions.
Technical specifications:
-Weight:5.9 kg
- Channels: Multichannel 12ch + SBAS 1ch
- Measurement accuracy: up to 0.02kn or 0.2%
- Turn tracking speed: 45/sec
- Operating temperature: from -25 to 55C
- Degree of protection: IP56
- Power consumption: 4W
- Displays: Comes with a 5-inch main LCD display, as well as additional 6.5 and 8.4 inch displays. The touch panels of the displays provide convenient operation. All displays have brightness adjustment from 0 to 100% and offer a choice of screen mode (day, dusk, night) through the menu. The user interface is intuitive and easy to use.
Main display parameters:
- Display: 5-inch touch screen
- Resolution: 480x800 pixels
- Brightness: maximum 450 cd/m2
- Viewing angle: 170 (H/V)
- Panel cutout size: 90x160 mm
- Power supply: 24 V DC, 8 W
The JLN-720 satellite log is equipped with a pre-programmed signal and alert function, including various alarms and warnings such as GPS, gyroscope failures and inconsistencies, which are supported via contacts and RS-422. You can set individual speed thresholds for forward and reverse movement. If an alert is triggered, a warning icon will appear on the display, and when you click on it, a corresponding notification will be displayed, which can be confirmed.
By connecting the VDR via a local network, you can monitor the operation of the JLN-720 satellite log from the shore via a satellite communication system, which allows you to effectively monitor the operating status, software version and carry out updates via j-Marine Cloud.
The JLN-720 satellite speedometer complies with international standards IEC 61023 (Ed.3) and SDME for 50,000GT vessels.
