Benthos DAT
The Benthos DAT acoustic transponder integrates a system for measuring distance, determining direction and transmitting data. It complements the functionality of the Benthos ATM-900 modem by providing automatic detection of azimuth and vertical angles through commands sent by the remote modem.
The transponder is equipped with 'mode-fied' technology, which uses a broadband signal to accurately determine the angle of arrival of the signal, unlike traditional devices powered by tonal signals. This ensures a high data reception rate even with a weak signal.
Benthos DAT offers a full 360-degree all-round view, has a compact and reliable body, and is characterized by low power consumption, which makes it ideal for use on offshore and underwater platforms.
In general, Benthos DAT guarantees the highest navigation accuracy.
Technical specifications:
- Memory: 6 mv
- Range of action:2-6 km

- Interface:RS-232
- Accuracy:0.3 meters
- Working depth:up to 2000 m
- Weight:11 kg
- Dimensions:14x86 cm
- Power:300W
