Furuno FAR-22x8
The Furuno FAR-22x8 marine radar system is designed to provide a high level of safety and reliability in maritime navigation, while reducing maintenance and spare parts costs.
The innovative Fast Target TrackingTM (TT) function allows you to quickly determine the speed vectors and courses of moving targets, which gives operators the opportunity to quickly take measures to avoid collisions and other incidents.
The intuitive user interface of the radar simplifies management, and the InstantAccess barTM function provides instant access to frequently used settings and functions by automatically adding them to the quick access toolbar.
The series includes the following models:
The solid-state radars of the NXT series from Furuno stand out for their quality and durability, meeting the stringent requirements of the marine environment. Thanks to the fanless solid-state antenna, the need for maintenance of the magnetron and processor fan is reduced, while the radar power remains at the level of traditional magnetron systems.
The 27-inch monitor (model: MU-270W) with an extended wide screen is capable of displaying up to 9 blocks of information, which improves the overview and data management.
When upgrading equipment from the previous FAR-2xx7 series to the new FAR-22x8 / 23x8 series, you can use existing monitors, control units and cables, which makes upgrading easier and more economical.
The Ethernet communication system facilitates the integration of the radar with existing or new navigation systems such as ECDIS and VDR, and also allows the use of a DVI-I cable to connect to the VDR during the upgrade process. This makes the setup more convenient and environmentally friendly.
