Furuno FAR-2137-BB

The Furuno FAR-2137-BB radar system, operating at S-band frequencies, is a high-precision equipment for large-tonnage vessels of more than 10,000 registered tons. This system extends object detection capabilities and is compatible with Furuno MU series displays, and can also transmit data to paired ECDIS, MFD and chartplotters.

The main feature of the model is integration into an Ethernet network, which allows you to synchronize work with other on-board equipment, including EQIS, ensuring high speed and stability of data transmission.

The radar includes advanced algorithms for target detection, as well as features to improve echo quality and jamming. With the help of ARPA, AIS, target trails and map overlay functions, the system helps to improve navigation efficiency and safety. Up to four radar stations can be connected to the system without the need for additional equipment. The radar is offered with antennas of various sizes: 4, 6.5 or 8 feet, and control is carried out through a trackball. Up to 30 routes and 200 waypoints can be stored in the device's memory.
