The presented course management system meets all the claims of progressive technologies. The digital base makes it possible to reduce the load on the operator, increases safety, while fuel consumption is much less compared to manual control. Modernization has affected both ergonomic and aesthetic aspects. The display was replaced with a high-contrast anti-glare high-resolution color screen with a diagonal of 6.5 inches and a viewing angle of 150 degrees.

The AP5000 is suitable for a wide variety of vessels ranging from yachts and small displacement vessels to large-tonnage cargo ships and tankers. It has a certified configuration for vessels with two independent rudders or steering columns.
