The Lifebuoy consists of a bright orange polyethylene shell and polyurethane foam floating filler, resistant to the effects of sea water, oil or fungi. Equipped with retroreflective strips of tape "3M" series 3150-A2.3. A line is attached to the outer edge of the lifebuoy. On the surface of the lifebuoy you can put text information. It is easy to use and does not require special maintenance. Periodic inspection is carried out at least 1 time per year. The service life may be extended by the manufacturer or an organization recognized by it.

On a vessel, a lifebuoy is placed in a device that has at least three reference points evenly spaced around the circumference.

The lifebuoy complies with the requirements of the technical specifications TU 7448-01-44164903-2003 of the International SOLAS-74/96 Convention, the LSA Code (IMO Resolution MSC 48 (66) and the IMO Resolution MSC 81 (70) and the requirements of the “Safety Equipment” equipment of ships of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, the rules of the Russian River Register.
