Satellite terminal Iridium Pilot, is designed for installation both on ships and on any other objects. Provides simultaneously up to three independent subscriber telephone lines and a permanent connection to the data network with a speed of up to 134 kbit / s. The Iridium Pilot terminal is registered in the Iridium network using SIM cards. For the Iridium Pilot SIM card, the required number of telephone lines (from 0 to 3) is activated, and the required parameters for connecting to the data network (maximum transfer rate, dynamic / fixed IP, IP traffic filtering rules) are set. Iridium Pilot consists of an omnidirectional outdoor antenna that does not contain moving parts and does not require a stabilization platform, and an internal electronic terminal block,
Iridium 9801 (Pilot) has the certificate of approval of the Russian Maritime Register for use on ships as additional equipment. Does not meet GMDSS requirements.
