Furuno IC-305 Distress Alert Unit

Furuno IC-305 - the unit for filing / receiving a distress signal. On the front of the unit are the DISTRESS (red) and ALARM ACK (white) buttons. The [DISTRESS] button is for transmitting a distress alert. To transmit a warning, press it until the indicator lights continuously. The IC-305 beeps and the indicator in the [ALARM ACK] button flashes when a distress call is received. You must press [ALARM ACK] to confirm the alarm, and change the alarm. To turn off the sound and light signals, you need to press the F10 function key on the terminal keyboard.
The Furuno IC-305 is used in conjunction with the Inmarsat terminals Furuno Felcom 18 and Felcom 19.
