Simrad Precision-9
Simrad Precision-9 is an electromagnetic compass. It is designed to be used in conjunction with autopilots, radar stations or SIMRAD navigation systems in the NMEA 2000® network to determine the exact course, speed of rotation, and pitching.
Precision-9 includes solid-state sensors for continuous measurement of direction and speed of movement along 9 individual axes. With this technology, the course is determined with an accuracy of ± 2 degrees, and the turning speed with a range of roll and pitch is ± 45 degrees.
The compass can be installed anywhere on the ship - on a horizontal surface, or on an adjustable bracket. The Precision-9 is housed in a rugged and waterproof IPX7 enclosure.
