Today (27.02.2017), Transas, one of the leading developers of software for marine navigation systems, and Japan Radio Company (JRC), one of the world's leading manufacturers of marine equipment, today announced an agreement on strategic partnership.
Transas and JRC will jointly conduct research and development of a new generation of marine electronic equipment. As a result, the market will come complete solutions which fully meet the requirements of maritime safety and incorporating the most advanced technology available in the maritime industry.
One of the first joint projects is planned to develop and design the new product line of electronic chart system (ECS), radars, automation of control systems and vessel traffic monitoring.
