Some models of Sea Tel and EXPLORER are being removed from support

Cobham has announced that it has stopped supporting and servicing certain Sea Tel and EXPLORER models.
The following products are removed from service, and Cobham also stops producing and supplying spare parts for them:

End of April 2019

• Sea Tel 2406 
  

The end of July 2019

• Sea Tel 6003A - as an alternative, we recommend Sea Tel 6004 spare parts, since they are similar
• Sea Tel 9497 - as an alternative, we recommend Sea Tel ST94 spare parts, since they are similar
• Sea Tel 9497B - Alternatively, we recommend the Sea Tel ST94 spare parts, since they are similar

The end of December 2019

• EXPLORER 5100 - Alternatively, we recommend EXPLORER 5120 spare parts, since they are similar
• EXPLORER 7100 / 7100MB - alternatively, we recommend replacing the product EXPLORER 8100
• EXPLORER 9092 M & H

Please note that “de-servicing” means that after-sales technical support is no longer available, and that knowledge base articles, downloads, etc. will be deleted from Cobham SYNC Portal after the dates above.
