Multichannel data repeater CDA
Description:
The CDA is a multi-channel data relay, capable of working with any protocols RS232/422/485 interfaces. The product provides data reception from one or two sources and transmits them without distortion and delays to 8 output channels, divided into 2 groups of 4 channels each. The product has several operating modes and, depending on the settings, can provide automatic switching of data transmission from the main channel to the backup channel, or transmit data from input channels independently to different output groups.

Operating mode:
The operating mode is selected by switches under the housing cover:
1. Switches "1", "2", "3" are disabled. In this mode, input 1 is transmitted unchanged to outputs 1-4, and input 2 is transmitted unchanged to outputs 5-8.
2. Only switch "1" is enabled. In this mode, input 1 is broadcast unchanged to outputs 1-4 and input 2 is broadcast unchanged to outputs 5-8. If there is no data on one of the inputs, the remaining input is broadcast to outputs 1-8.
3. Only switch "2" is enabled. In this mode, input 1 is broadcast to outputs 1-8, and when there is no data on input 1, input 2 is broadcast to outputs 1-8.
4. Only switch "3" is enabled. In this mode, when output dry contact 1 and COM connector XT13 are closed, input 1 is translated to outputs 1-8, and when there is no data on input 1, input 2 is translated to outputs 1-8. When output dry contact 1 and COM connector XT13 are open, input 2 is translated to outputs 1-8, and when there is no data on input 2, input 1 is translated to outputs 1-8.
5. Switches "2" and "3" are enabled. In this mode, when output dry contact 1 and COM connector XT13 are open, input 1 is translated to outputs 1-8. When output dry contact 1 and COM connector XT13 are closed, input 2 is translated to outputs 1-8.
6. Switches "1", "2", "3" are enabled. In this mode the CDA operation is configured programmatically via USB connector. It is possible to set the correspondence of input and output channels, baud rate, data conversion, etc.
