SAILOR FleetBroadband 500 - is a ship earth station in a compact size. It has a wide spectrum of functionality. It provides broadband Internet access and InterNetwork, e-mail messaging, and simultaneous data and voice communications. Data is transmitted over IP protocol at speeds up to 432 Kbits / sec. This speed allows a spreadsheet in real time. Videoconferencing and synchronization of databases is provided at a rate of up to 256 kbit / s. Function FleetBroadband Multi-voice provides access to 9 telephone lines. Furthermore the terminal supports commutated data channels, such as faxing Group 3 and 4. Due to the wide area coverage FleetBroadband 500 works virtually anywhere in the world, except for North and South Poles. Frequency range: 1525.0 MHz to 1559.0 MHz (receive mode) and 1626.5 MHz-1660 MHz (transmission mode). The terminal can be serviced remotely.
