Controller Hart device PI-485
- formation of signals of APS when the parameters exceed predefined thresholds (warning or emergency);
- collection and primary processing of signals from external sensors and devices;
- the formation of the output control signals;
- explosion protection type "intrinsically safe electrical circuit".
PI-485 has 4 galvanic isolated HART connector and 2 galvanic connector RS485 MODBU, making the controller safe. PI-485 works with all HART devices. Windows based software provides easy programming of the device.
Controller Hart device PI-485 provides intrinsically safe devices with HART interface class 0Ex ia IIC T5 (model PI-485 Ex).

Explosion-proof equipment standards
Standard ATEX (Atmospheres Explosibles) explosive mixtures of gases were introduced 01.08.2003 in accordance with the requirements of the European Union 94/9/EC, which replaced the old CENELEC and used in Europe. Applies to electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as protective equipment for use in hazardous areas like underground and on the surface.
