The International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974 ( SOLAS-74 ) was adopted at the International Conference on the Safety of Life at Sea on November 1, 1974, and its 1988 Protocol (Protocol-88) - at the International Conference on the Safety of Life at Sea Harmonized System of Survey and Registration of Certificates November 10, 1988
