Ship auxiliary equipment

03 December, 2020

The  Communication and Radionavigation Group of Companies is a team of highly qualified professionals with impressive experience in working with ship auxiliary equipment. Having a transit warehouse in Europe and our own warehouse network in Russia, we successfully supply, check, service and repair equipment in the shortest possible time with a guarantee.

In 2018, our company implemented the idea of creating its own line of auxiliary devices, the task of which is to interface equipment from different manufacturers, as well as old equipment with new ones. This bold move is the result of collaboration with experienced service engineers and users of our equipment. They help us develop relevant and high quality communication and navigation products.

The development team includes circuit engineers, programmers and designers. They create the most popular auxiliary devices used in retrofitting and re-equipping ships. These include display devices, equipment matching devices, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, and power supplies.

Currently, the development department is engaged in the following areas:

  • peripheral devices based on microcontrollers and microprocessors;

  • power devices;

  • software applications for PC.

Among the auxiliary devices of our own production, we present the following:

Amplifier NMEA 0183 CIR CDA 28

The principle of operation of the device:

the amplifier is designed for multiplying signals in the NMEA 0183 format with serial data transmission via RS-232 and RS-422 interfaces from one or two sources. The device transmits data from two inputs to eight outputs without changes, while amplifying the signal level to 5 V. It has two modes of operation:

• work simultaneously on two channels with mutual redundancy;

• signal multiplication with the main signal reserve.

Amplifier / combiner NMEA 0183 CiR CAS-82

The principle of operation of the device:

The CIR CAS-82 device is designed to receive messages from signal sources in the NMEA format through eight input ports RS-232 and RS-422, summarize and combine the received messages, and then broadcast them through two output ports RS-232 and RS-422.

Signal Multiplier NMEA 0183 CIR MP-01A

The principle of operation of the device:

CIR MP-01A converter is designed to convert and amplify NMEA 0183 or other signals during serial data transmission via RS-232 and RS-422 interfaces from one source.

A multifunctional NMEA signal converter helps to coordinate the operation of equipment that, for various reasons, is not able to work in conjunction. It depends on the program on board. In addition, we are engaged in writing firmware for special cases, thanks to which we successfully help clients in non-standard situations.

The MP-01A enables customers to reduce costs when upgrading equipment locally.

Multipliers and combiners of NMEA signals produced by the "Communication and Radionavigation" company are always available, which allows their installation in the shortest possible time without waiting for the delivery of analogs from third-party organizations.

Despite the fact that the development department was recently organized in the company, a qualified team of competent specialists has provided more than 50 vessels with auxiliary equipment of their own production.
