Furuno DRS6A

The Furuno DRS6A X-class is an open-type radar antenna capable of receiving high-definition signals both at short distances (from 25 m) and long-range (up to 120 nautical miles) in real time. The antenna speed automatically adjusts to the pulse length required for optimum performance. The radar processor is integrated in the drive box, which greatly facilitates installation. Only the power and Ethernet cables are required. 

Digital signal processing improves the detection of targets at any distance. When the respective sensors are connected, the radar has the ability to overlay radar data to 2D / 3D mapping, tracking up to 30 ARPA targets, imposing AIS targets and afterglow of moving targets when connecting the echo sounder.

The DRS6A-X-clas is equipped with a bird-watching mode function to search for bird flocks over the fish schools in the sea. This mode automatically adjusts the gain settings and the interference suppression from the sea to obtain the optimum image.
