The Simrad NAIS-400 is a Class B AIS receiver, optimally suited for use in areas with heavy shipping and busy ports. Thanks to its compact design, light weight, waterproof housing and low power consumption, the NAIS-400 is easily integrated with any chartplotters or multifunction displays NSS, NSE, NSO, as well as with VHF Simrad RS systems.

The NAIS-400 meets all the requirements for automatic identification systems of Class B. It is ideal for use on sailing ships and boats where low power consumption and reliability are important. The average power consumption of the device is only 170 mA at 12 VDC, which makes it an economical option.
